Mothers, they are remembered to be there for us when we need them. They are also remembered to be that special someone who learnt us how to talk, walk and act. But some people have other thoughts about their mother's...that they'd rather forget.
Dustin: I've done us some pancakes today.
Angela: Awww, that's so sweet.
Brandi: Great, i'm starving.
Dustin: Mom? What are you doing here?
Brandi: Oh they let me go...they have no evidence which suggests i had anything to do with Beau's kidnap.
Dustin: Oh, still playing the kidnap card?
Brandi: Oh and Angela, if people find out about this then i'll know it came from you okay?
Angela: Everyone knows anyway...
Yes, Mothers do tend to crop up...when they're not really wanted...
Many women go through emotional times when they have no one to talk to. Maybe all their friends have left town? Maybe the family is celebrating elsewhere...and the women in Pleasantview are exactly the same...
Dina: So are you coming down here? ...why not? ...It's christmas, and i'm all alone...okay...well...have fun with your family.
Dina: (sighs)
(phone rings)

Dina: Hello? Mom? What is it? Erm...no i don't need you here actually...everything's fine...no...honestly...don't come...
Don: ...i don't know, she's had an hold on me for years now.
Sara: Did you know her before you moved here?
Don: Yes, we met at a club, i slept with her...and her sister. Then we never saw each other again. Until she moved here.
Sara: Why did she move here?
Don: Erm...she never said.
Sara: You don't have to be her puppet no more...you can free yourself...
Don: No...i really can't...
Sara: Why not?
Don: It's complicated...
Sara: How are you going to live your life if you're going to keep going to her all the time...she doesn't even like you Don...she's using you...
Don: You don't understand...no one does.
Sara: Then help me to...
Peggy: Cassandra have you seen Jessica anywhere?
Cassandra: No, sorry Peggy.
Peggy: If you see her tell her i'm looking for her.
Cassandra: Will do...

Cassandra: Peggy's looking for her daughter.
Bella: Has she run away or something?
Cassandra: Don't know...maybe...
Bella: Anyway, it's three days before Christmas and we've not bought Alexandra's castle, i've ordered it in town, fancy coming with me?
Cassandra: Sure, i'll call for a taxi...
Mary-Sue: What are you up to?
Lilith: I've got some amazing news...there's a new set of apartment's opened at the top of Pleasantview...for two people...
Mary-Sue: That's....good news
Lilith: It's fantastic. Me and Angela can move in them, me and her...hitting the open road.
Mary-Sue: Yeah...should be fun...
Lilith: Well they want people in it before Christmas...so...i'll go and talk to them.
Mary-Sue: Great...you do that..
Dustin: Look, there's people from the papers outside...so don't let them see you..
Angela: Okay...bye!
Dustin: I'll come around after...
Dustin: (sighs)
Brandi: Dustin?
Dustin: Yeah?
Brandi: Can i talk to you a minuite.
Dustin: Sure...what's up?
Brandi: Look, i just wanted to say...sorry..for everything i've put you through. Not just this, for everything...(cries) i've been a terrible mother to you...and i really am sorry...i know its hard to believe right now...
Dustin: Come here...

Brandi: (cries) Listen darling...you be happy, thats all that matters to me.
Dustin: (sighs) I will Mom...
Don: Dina had this plan...to get Mortimer Goth's money. She'd killed Michael...her ex...and she learnt that Bella's husband was rich. She had contacts...people
that could do her dirty work for her...but she wanted me to make sure Bella was...in the right place at the right time.
Sara: My god...
Don: Bella ended up being taken to a cabin in the woods...she spent a year there...tied to a fireplace...and yet...she still kept fighting...that woman...she really loves her family.
Sara: But...Mortimer's dead...
Don: Yeah...well that's another thing i had to do.
Sara: You?!
Don: She tried to contact Pollination, her great grandfather, but she couldn't...so she called me, and i stabbed Mortimer at the air port.
Sara: Don!?
Don: I know...i shouldn've done that...but i think...i think i loved her Sara...but it's eating away at my insides knowing that i ruined a perfectly good family...for her...
Sara: Why don't you tell the police?
Don: Because if i do...then i'm going down with her.
Sara: (sighs) What's done is done...okay? You need to bury the past...but you promise me, that you won't go near her again? Promise me?
Don: I promise...we'll make a go of it. Thank you for listening.
Lilith: Angela?! I've got some fantastic news...me and you are moving into an apartment...
Angela: What?! How? When?
Lilith: Them new ones on the other side of the bridge...we're going now!
Angela: But...i can't...Dustin...
Lilith: Oh he can come whenever he wants...i don't mind.
Angela: Oh Lilith!

(doorbell rings)
Dina: Who's this now?

Nighat: Suprise!
Dina: Mom?!
Flamenco: And Dad, and baby brother!
Dina: What are you doing here?
Nighat: We're spending Christmas with you!
Dina: (sighs) Great...

Mary-Sue: I'll be coming around and seeing it before christmas.
Lilith: You'd better.

Angela: Dustin? Me and Lilith are moving into an apartment.
Dustin: Listen...Angela...i can't see you any more.
Angela: What?! Why?
Dustin: My mom...she's all...she needs protecting Angela...
Angela: From who?
Dustin: From herself...and i'm the only one who can help her...but it means be saying goodbye to you...
Angela: No, you're a good person...don't do this...
Dustin: I'm sorry, i have to be with me Mom.
Angela: No...(cries)...Dustin...don't leave me...
Dustin: I'm sorry...

Angela: No! (cries) You're breaking my heart! Please don't leave me!
Lilith: Angela?
Angela: Lilith...he's left me...(cries)...he's left me...
Dina: This is a nice visit.
Nighat: Well we thought we'd come and see you and Nina...is she...working?
Dina: I thought she'd gone to live with you?
Flamenco: Don't tell me you both fell out?
Dina: Yeah, it's a long story...anyway, it's nice to see you. Send me a postcard.
Nighat: Nice try...but we're staying put...
Dina: Oh...well...make yourself's at home.
Nighat: I better put this little fellow to bed...
Dina: How?
Nighat: Fold-in cot...keep up dear.
Flamenco: You haven't changed a bit...
Dina: I've grown up a lot since we last met...
Flamenco: Nah...you're still the beautiful baby i brought up.
Dina: Hmmm...

Brandi: What's happened?
Dustin: Nothing...just cutting some old ties.
Brandi: Maybe we should ask Angela to come around ours for Christmas Dinner?
Dustin: Yeah...maybe...
When Mothers begin to step into their sons, and daughter's lives it can lead to some bad experience's...

But sometimes the bad experience's can leave the family with a bad scar....
